
There are many reasons that I work out almost every day. The first and foremost is because I CAN. My body is healthy enough to exercise so I am going to do it! After experiencing a major health crisis (cancer) years ago, I stopped taking my ability to exercise for granted. I couldn’t then, but I can NOW so I am. Also, I was told that the number one thing I could do to help prevent a recurrence of my cancer is to exercise consistently and with a lot of exertion. Not just walking the dog. I also exercise almost every day because I feel a great sense of accomplishment afterwards and at the end of the week when I know I have been every day. I schedule things around my workout and skip things that aren’t a priority if it interferes with getting to the gym. Working out IS my priority in the mornings. Finally, I love feeling strong and seeing the results of my hard work!

Laura had been working out with World Gym and did not like the huge classes and rotating instructors. She said that what she really likes about S5 is that every day the workout is different, and it is well thought out. “I like that Sean is the guy!” Laura said, “He is knowledgeable and he cares! I feel like we are all in good hands with him.” When we asked Laura what results she has seen since she has been an S5 Fitness client, she said, “I feel so much stronger in daily living since I’ve been working out at S5 Fitness. I get compliments on my arms too, which is an added bonus!” The achievement that Laura is most proud of is that she is Chest pressing two 30lb dumbbells! Way to go Laura! Laura said, “The hardest part about joining S5 Fitness or any program for that matter is saying yes, and then being consistent in the beginning, but the rewards far outweigh the difficulty in committing!
It feels great to be strong!!! I feel that my kids see the value of exercise more since I get up and get ready for the gym every day as they are heading off to school. They realize that it is important in life to be active.”
